Celebration Time

Yahoo!!

Bring out the champagne!

We got baby Myron back this evening bout 4pm.
His bilirubin count was down to 170 umol/L when they checked him in the morning. The safe zone is 17-180 umol/L, so he just made it. And since we only got him in the evening, we hope it's even at a better count when we brought him home.

Since then he has nursed twice and is sleeping soundly.

Thank you for all your prayers and your well wishes.
It's good to have the baby home.

Ahh....

very cute mothercare sleepsuit... haha.. a must have item. Glad that your baby is finally home.

Since u had operation, try to lay flat as much as possible, it will speed up the scar healing.

my first one is emergency caesarian, i got up a lot trying to nurse her or pump out milk, and the scar still painfull after confinement.

my second one is elective caesarian, i rest a lot, and the scar heal much faster.

Linda,

Thanks.
My boys and I call it his astronaut suit! Hahaha...

Yes, good advice about trying to rest more... but It is much harder with 2 older boys demanding attention and also with no help besides my in-laws. They are already doing a lot, so I try to do some things for myself and the boys.

If can't rest, at least lay flat while playing with the boys, with both legs down. haha.. I know it is hard.

My gynae only told me that cannot curl leg up to much after the operation when I had 2nd one.

Ann,

Yes. We are all so happy he is home.

Don't worry about not being able to visit. That was what happened when you had your boy too, as I recall.

You take care of yourself too.
My sis from Singapore came up for a week but we also could not meet up coz her kids were sick. At the end of the week she was also catching their bug. So you take care too.
