What-A-Daddy

I am again awake by myself.
Now there are four sweethearts in sweet slumber.

The last few nights, Gadget-daddy had been the one to put the two big boys to bed.
Tonight, because I was nursing Myron at that time, he again had to settle the boys for bedtime - brushed their teeth and get them tucked in. After they slept, he complained that because I am home, the boys were refusing to sleep. Too excited. Kept chatting and making funny quirks.

But I love watching this man with his boys.
He has always been interested and wants to be involved with them.

When we had our first boy, he wanted to bathe him, but MiL was even more insistent.
But when Micah had colic, Gadget-daddy locked our room's door, leaving the anxious grandparents knocking frantically at our door and trying to get in to settle the baby themselves. Gadget-daddy took care of his crying baby every night, about 8pm to 9pm, for a month, trying all manners to sooth him.

Micah, June 2004 - New born

Max was a much easier baby. Even then, Gadget-daddy was ever ready to burp the baby after every feed. And he does such a good job at that too.
While Max's nature is one that is a little more reserve, Gadget-daddy is always encouraging and coaxing him to be involved or to try new things. This of course is not always well received by Max, but he sure needs such a father to help him be braver than he can be. (Mommy is usually more patient and indulgent. :D Maybe when he is a little older....)

Maxwell, December 2005 - New born.

Maxwell, about 1 month old.

Now we have another for Gadget-daddy to burp and change diapers. :)
More than all that, he is also enjoying breathing in the fragrance of the new born and sleeping beside him.

Myron, March 2009 - New born

My boys are so fortunate to have such a Daddy.
I am so fortunate to have such a man.

We Are Still Here

Hi. We are still here.
Nope, we have not suddenly rushed off to the hospital... yet.

Thanks for dropping by and for all your comments on the last post.

Gadget-daddy has been rather busy in front of the computer, doing work. Hence, not much of a chance for me to sit in to respond to your comments (all so nice and encouraging) nor the opportunity to "visit" you too.

The blame is not entirely on him. I too have been feeling lazy when I am not with the boys or trying to sort some things before the arrival of the baby.

Also (confession time), I have been addicted to a new game on the iPod touch, called word warp. It's a word game.

Anyway, while I am now busy buying stuff in preparation for the arrival (disposable diapers, wet wipes, breastpads),
Gadget daddy has set up a new site for the coming of the baby.
It's suppose to be for those who are interested on live feeds of what's happening.
The site is:

www.twitter.com/milkrr

This was just like what he did when we were expecting Micah.

So should I expect at some point of my labor I'd be screaming in pain only to find the hand I'm suppose to be squeezing is gone and busy typing something on the iPhone? Hmmm... probably.

Maybe I'd be asking something like

"What's the time?"
And be answered by a "Hmm? Mmm... Errr..."

"How heavy is the baby?"
"Errmm.. mmm... one moment, dear..."

Oh boy... Less than two weeks to go.

Valentine's Day

So how was your Valentine's day?

We went out to Midvalley because Gadget-daddy wanted to get some lights from Ace Hardware.

Well, I had thought it was some light for our house (a few busted tubes and bulbs), but it turned out it's this:

It's for his new hobby - making is own short films.

Anyway, we had a pretty good time browsing around.
And then we went to a new restaurant for lunch:

After lunch, we headed for a quick swim at a friend's, but Max fell asleep on the way. So while Gadget-daddy and Micah swam, I managed a good time of catching up with my friend.

Later, Gadget-daddy and I went for a movie - The Strange Case of Benjamin Button.

Very interesting and heart warming.

Max had come along, but he fell asleep half way.

It was a pretty eventful Valentine's for us and our kids.

Like A Desperado

Date: Federal Day, 1 February, 2009.

Gadget-daddy wanted to take the boys to a waterfall.
I asked him to ask his brother to go along to help watch the boys.
He said he could handle them.

I then decided I would go too... at least, maybe, Max and I will just sit and play in the stream at the foot of the fall.

Wonderfully, an answer to my prayers, Gadget-daddy's bro wanted to come along too, so we all made the trip to Gabai Waterfalls, Ulu Langat.

And since the uncle was good in going along with the boys, running up the steps, Gadget-daddy and I took a leisurely climb up the fall.

Noticed a unique snail along the way up.

Also noted the many different foliage above our heads.

The trail up to the falls now is good and proper steps compared to the days when we went up a few times in our teens. It was then a jungle trail. More exciting, but less accessible to the public. I definitely would not have made it if it was as then, as I recall a section of the trail required you to climb over a huge fallen tree and then under another.

Anyway, we all made it up and down. We counted - 367 steps in all!!

Quite an achievement for a then 34 week preggy Mommy!!
(Does this sound like I'm trying to achieve something before the arrival of the 3rd boy and having to be home-bound for a month? *grin*)

Micah enjoyed the water, but complained it was too cold.
Max had refused to get in altogether and cried when Gadget-daddy took him one round down the natural slide.

For them the real thrill was discovering and handling a giant millipede and their snackie of sausages and crabsticks.

On our way back, we stopped at this place called "the Look Out Point" and had lunch there.
The food was nothing to shout about, but it was still part of our outing. It was just different to be a place where we could see our city's skyline quite clearly.

There's actually a look out tower, but I did not manage to get to the top fast enough as the four boys raced up. But I figure the view is probably pretty much the same.

All in all ,it was a pretty good and tiring trip.
Both the boys slept on the way home.

Gadget-daddy's Third Pregnancy

I have been wanting to write this post for while, but CNY came into the picture...
And I actually have more pictures to show... but...

Anyway,

When I was pregnant for the first time, we were all anxious and excited.
Of course I had already mentioned before (here) that we only discovered the pregnancy when I was already 14 weeks into it, so the first trimester was all over.

Anyway, Gadget-daddy made all the doctor's visits with me,
did his dishes, and mine, most of the time after meals,
helped mop the floor,
set up a website for photos and updates (of which the server has now crashed),
and filled up petrol for the car every time I mentioned a need to (I had my own car then).

When I was pregnant with Max (full story here), Gadget-daddy spent as much of his time as he could with Micah, who was about a year old then.
I can't recall much of what else he did, but while I was surprised by the second pregnancy, he was not. (Hmmm...? You say?) This was because I was still breastfeeding Micah, and while we did not use any contraceptives, I was still not expecting to conceive so soon.

Now, with the Third baby on the way (and pretty soon too),
Gadget daddy's very helpful with the two boys,
does most of my little beck-and-calls when I am on my aching back,
gives me back rubs and
rescues me in the night when I have cramps on my leg
and fills petrol for me too, except on a couple of occasions when he was away.

But this time round, there is no dish washing or mopping of floors.
Not that I'm complaining, but just different.
Besides, I feel the most important thing is what he is doing most of the time :
Spending time and bonding with his two older boys, before the third one arrives.

But he had it easy with all the pregnancies as there were:

No problem sleeping*
And that's because most of the time I sleep quite well and even when I don't, I'm not troubled by his snoring. I have heard from some men how their pregnant wives would "smack" them in the night because they cannot sleep and are even more aggravated by the husband's snorings.

No Mid-night cravings demands
I have also heard of how some pregnant wives demanded their sleeping husbands to get them something to eat/drink. One was of a craving for coconuts from the neighbour's house!!

So we are good and happy when we are pregnant.
:)

* The only complaint he made was in the first pregnancy, by the third trimester, I had to be surrounded by pillows so that I could sleep well and his complained was that I took up 2/3 of our bed. He felt crowded on our king-size bed.

Souvenirs From A Camp

So Gadget-daddy got back late Sunday evening from his waterfall trip.

He has this motto from his scouting days regarding being one with nature:

"Take nothing but photos; Leave nothing but footprints."

Well, he took quite a few shots, and here is just a small sample of it...

The actual seize of this fall: over 100feet fall.

At a lower section of the fall.
Pic taken with a slow aperture.

Crossing the stream.

The stream from a different perspective.

Plus, he brought back another kind of souvenir:

Leech bites and scratches!!

Well, this is the leg that has he leech bites concentrated around the front of his ankles.
The other leg, the leech bites were scattered all over. We didn't even bother to count how many there were.

According to him, it's due to the rainy season. In all his years of camping and hiking in the jungle with the Scouts, he had hardly any leech bites.

Well, this sure made a record!!

Gadget-daddy Gets The Camping Bug

Gadget-daddy's gone for a couple of days.
He's taken off with a bunch of strangers to go hike up a waterfall and camp in the jungle for a night.

This started back a week before Christmas when we were at a friend's Christmas get-together and he chatted with someone about going to waterfalls around Kuala Lumpur.

It seems there's this group on Facebook called Waterfall Survivors and he decided it was time to revive an old passion.

He was all excited about buying a new tent and some camping utilities.

The boys had a great time when Gadget-daddy tested out the tent in the hall.
That was when Micah decided he wanted to go too.

The really funny part was that he wanted to make the new tent look a little worn so that he would not look like a rookie, while he felt he has had more experience camping out (was very active as a scout in his school days) than most people. But of course we didn't do anything to the tent.

Mommy's fun part, of course, was going shopping with him for the food supply and amazed him by knowing which aisle to head to for the specific thing he wanted at the supermarket. :D

Micah's wanting to go along were expressed thus:
"Yes, I want to go. I'm coming along."
"Mommy's not going? Max not going?"
"OK, I'll sleep with you, Dad. We'll sleep in the tent, right?"

Of course we all felt he is just almost ready, but not quite.
Maybe when he turns 5.

He was quite disappointed when he discovered that Gadget-daddy had left early this morning.

Both the boys missed him and asked a few times:
Where is he?
When is he coming back?
Why is it so long?
I want Daddy...

Well, Gadget-daddy will be back tomorrow, and we'll then share some photos.
:)

Patting Max To Sleep

Max always request for Mommy to pat him and sing him to sleep.
He usually picks a song himself, but Mommy will sing others that follows, either of the same tune or the same theme.

Today he said to Gadget-daddy that he wanted him to pat him to sleep and sing him a song.
His song request: Hush Little Baby Don't Say A Word.

Usually Mommy will sing this one in her own version*, which usually ends with us all giggling, before singing 'Five Little Ducks' and other animal rhymes.

BUT

Guess what Gadget-daddy did?

He Googled it from his i-Phone in bed with Max beside him and had it played out to him.
So we all heard the actual version of Hush Little Baby for the first time.
Hahahaha...

Yes, yes... we all learn something new everyday, even a lullaby.
:)

But in the end, he still snuggled close to Mommy and lay quiet and sleep blanketed him.
Such a sweet little boy.

* Mommy's version:

Hush little baby don't say a word,
Mama's gonna buy you a mocking bird.

If that mocking bird don't sing,
Mama's gonna buy you a big brass ring.

If that big brass ring don't shine,
Mama's gonna buy you a bottle of lime.

And if that bottle of lime's too sour,
Mama's gonna get you some solar power!!

Watching TV With Daddy

My boys are watching Zorro on TV with their daddy.

So this is probably their first exposure to sword fighting, some fancy horse riding and dynamite blasting.

At the end, I over heard Micah asking his daddy why they were fighting.
And Daddy explained about having to fight off the bad people and rescue the people who were trapped.

I remember when I was very young, maybe four or younger, I'd sit on my daddy's lap and joined him on his favourite cowboy show on our black and white TV:

Bonanza!
(Thanks to Google, you can find and refresh almost any bit/bits of your memories!!)

Anyone remembered this?
:)

Actually, I only remembered the intro of the show, the fire part and the men riding together.
The music, too, of course, but don't recall any of the show itself.

Adventures With Daddy- Part 2.

It was a rainy evening.

Gadget-daddy still felt like it was good to take his son out.
So we got out the umbrellas, and Gadget-daddy got his poncho on.

The we decided to get Micah a make-shift raincoat - by using a garbage bag.

Just as they were getting ready to go out, Max woke up from his nap. Mommy figured he was not warmed-up yet to be taking a walk in the rain, so off went Daddy and Micah.

Just one minute after they had set off, Max started crying wanting Daddy and koh-koh. When he found out that they had "gone out for a little while", he insisted he wanted to go with them.

So a phone call and another plastic bag and a smaller umbrella got him set for an adventure too.

The three guys went off walking in the rain with an umbrella each.
(Of course grandma was not at all pleased with our idea of fun, fearing they might catch a cold.)

Mommy went to pick them up mid way from the usual pick-up spot with a tumbler of hot milo.

Gadget-daddy drove slowly all the way back while the boys enjoyed their hot drinks in the car.

Quite a fun rainy afternoon for all.

All set for a walk in the rain.

Adventures With Daddy- Part 1.

A few nights a go, Gadget-daddy took the boys out on a night walk. Each one armed with a torch light and with long pants on, in case of pesky mozzies, they took a walk to the playground.

It is the familiar path they usually take in the evening, about 1.7km* from the house to where I usually pick them up.

So when I picked them up at the same spot, they were delighted and had loads to tell me.

"Mom, we heard the crickets, you know, but we could not see where they were hiding."

"Mom, we saw our old frogs**. They have grown and they giggled when we shined our torch lights on them. There were two of them."

"My pants are a little bit wet. I splashed into a puddle."

"My pants are a little bit wet. I sat on a wet spot."

I'm sure the experience of walking though a park in the night was really enthralling for the boys. Well, these are the things that I am glad Gadget-daddy was around to do with the boys.

Just waiting till they are old enough to go camping out in the open in a tent. I'm sure that would be really fun too.

* 1.7km: This is an accurate measurement by Gadget-daddy's latest gadget, the iPhone, which has GPS and this thing that measures how far you've traveled and can also indicate your speed by foot, etc.

** The frogs: A couple of weeks before school ended I bought Micah's class a couple of froglets - those tadpoles almost a full-grown frogs with a bit of a tail left. At the end of the week we took them back and later in the evening we went to the park to let them go at a pond.
Unknown to the boys, but Grandma and I saw, one was very quickly snapped up by a crow, and another was dragged to the bottom of the pond by a fish. Sad endings which we saved the boys from.
We actually went and bought two more the following week but this time we let them out in our backyard. Soon after that we had to go out and we never saw them again. Hopefully this time they had a longer lifespan on their own. Who knows where these two are now.

Every Man Has His Vice

Every man has his vice....

And Gadget-daddy's is...

Gadgets.

Obvious, right?

He drools over those electronic toys, compares different gadgets and their applications and tell me how impressed he is about a certain item...

Actually this has been a long time passion, since the time he got into computer studies, he'd tell me all kinds of stuff, some quite impressive, but I am actually a skeptic when it comes to computers and what we think we can make it do for us.

Anyway, his latest indulgence has been infecting the whole clan:

The iPod Touch and his iPhone.

Well, not like we touch much of his phone, but the boys and Mommy have been fighting over the iPod touch to either play games (Mommy on Bejewelled and the boys on Eat, Bunny, Eat) or watch a movie... So there, we are infected.

Well, some things of the future is here for us now, I guess.

Morning Warmies

Gadget-daddy has a morning thing with the boys. He calls it the H2K.

Every morning he would say to each of the boys... Where is my H2K?
Hug + 2Kkisses.

The boys would each climb on his chest (he 's usually still in bed himself while the boys are already up and about) and they would give him a peck on each cheek. Then it's his turn to return them.

This morning Micah woke up first.
The first thing he asked me what did I dream about.
I told him it was about our family including my mom, both my sisters and nephew and niece on a tour bus going around Penang!
Later I recalled the dream a little better and told Gadget-daddy that it included his friend on our family holiday.
Haha. How about that for a family holiday trip?
Maybe Mommy's brain is working overtime about what to do for this holiday.

Micah said he dream of school and playing a fun game with his friends.
Asked him, " so you miss school already?"
He said, "Yeah. I have fun in school..."

Funny, eh? All the time not wanting to go to school, and now missing it. :)

Well, gotta get ready to go swimming now.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Oh, How I Miss Thee...

Today we sent Gadget-daddy off to catch the train to the airport.

These were the signs that they boys miss their father without saying so:

As our car drove off from the train station,
Micah: Mommy, I want to go with Daddy.
Mommy: Sorry, darling. Not this trip. Daddy has to work and there's no one to take care of you.
Max: Are we going home now?
Mommy: No, we are sending koh-koh to school.

Before dinner,
Micah: Mommy, come take a video of me telling stories of my trains... (20 minutes later) Now put it on the internet for my friends to see.
Mommy: Sorry, darling. We will have to wait for Daddy to come back to do that. Mommy don't know how to do it.
Poor boy. Disappointed to have to wait a few days.

During dinner, grandpa made an exit to visit someone at the hospital. Hearing a sound at the door,
Max: Oh! Is that Daddy?
Mommy: No, darling. Daddy is away in the Philippines.
Resumes dinner with cartoon on TV.

Bed time,
Max: Mommy, I want to sleep here until Daddy comes back, ok? (crawls down to the mattress where Daddy sleep. Yes, our boys have taken over our bed*, but their days of bed domination are numbered.)
Micah: I also want to sleep down here.
So both the boys are sleeping on the floor tonight. Shall I take the bed for myself or move them up? Hmmm... Oh, If only Gadget-daddy is here to share the bed with me.

Of course, every time Gadget-daddy calls, Max will be the first one on the phone. Micah is not really the one to talk on the phone these days. But they sure miss their Daddy.

We all miss you, Daddy-O.

* We initially put Micah on the mattress on the floor, but that spot is right under the ceiling fan and he cried almost every nigh that he was feeling cold. So Daddy and Micah swapped place. Mommy is now on the bed with 2 boys.
On weekends, when Gadget-daddy is back, the parents will be on the floor, trying to get some cuddle time, until one of the boys cries and she will end up on the bed till daybreak. All kinds of movements through the night.
Our plan is to move them out to another room by year end before the next one comes to take a stake on our bed... Yeap. yet another.

Old Not-Really-Love Story

This story is specially for my kai-lui, milochel.

So here's a bit more on "something sounding like an extract from a teenage romance novel" from the last post.

So this friend of mine (shall not mention the name, but I don't think you'd be so "blur" not to know, right?) and I were in the same gang that hung out in school. We spend almost every morning before school started and also after school as a bunch of close knit friends. We were crazy about having fun, but serious about helping each other out to be better people as individuals and in the community. (Incidentally, Gadget-daddy was also with us in this gang. Yes, like I said, close-knit friends.)

He and I wrote letters and notes to each other almost every other day, if not every day and we would chat on the phone a lot. We actually got very close because he confided in me about his struggle with parental relationships (he came from a very good home where he felt pressured by parents who are "never wrong").

Eventually we both grew mix feeling for each other.
Through some obvious hints, we let each other know there was a crush on both sides.

He was always kind and encouraging.
He was witty and funny, and sometimes very profound.
The one thing I really appreciated was his respect for me.

It was at this time we both knew I was not ready to be committed in a relationship.
I was afraid.
Afraid that if it failed, I would lose a very good friend.
Afraid that if it failed, I might not survive a broken heart.

So we never actually got "involved" although some people observing us could tell there were some sparks between us.

Eventually he moved to study in another state and we were only in contact once or twice a year.

It was at this time that he was away, that I spent a lot of time with another good friend, now the love of my life (read that real love story here).

So life is such, that some "what if's" would really have ended us up in really different lives from the one we live now.

I am glad for who I am with. Gadget-daddy and I are both so glad.

I am also glad that with him, we are all still very good friends.

I am sure his wife knew about "us" too, as he is the type to not to keep secrets from the one he trusts. So I am glad we are all very good friends.

When we meet we talk about our kids, our parents and siblings. The men talk about financial managements, the wives exchange news about a common friend. We still laugh about some unbelievable incidences we encountered. Occasionally we talk about our funny school tales, but not too much as we do not want his wife to feel left out.

So, we are cool.
Just that having my child carry the same name as he might be a little too close for comfort ...
I'm sure his mom (she knew about "us" too) would raise an eyebrow.

Confessions of An Almost Three Year Old.

Scenario:
Getting Max ready for bed. Putting his pajamas on.

Mommy: Did you have good day, Max?

Max: Yes. (Short pause) Remember we had a lot of fun. Remember the party? Next time I want to bring my cars. There was a monster truck there.

Mommy: Which party?

Max: Remember? Bethany was there.

Mommy (doing a quick scan of her memory cells of what party he might be referring to as there was a more party recently at Micah's school...but Max was not there): Oh, you mean the party with the swimming pool?
(That was like 2 weeks ago.)

Max: Yes, with the swimming ppol.

Mommy: Yeah... that's right. And who took you swimming?

Max: Daddy. I love Daddy all the time.

Mommy (wanting to double check that): What did you say, Max?

Max: I love Daddy all the time.

Then he went on to talk about Daddy loves playing games. Daddy is at work now, in Jakarta...
Busy chatting on and on with Mommy, while his eye lids were obviously getting heavier and heavier. Then...

Max: Mommy, I want nan-nan now.

He closed his eyes almost immediately as I got him to nurse and was far far away in dreamland within 5 minutes.

This is such a sweety boy.

Ahhh... contentment.

That's a record for you, Dear.

I Want Daddy

This whole week Gadget-daddy was with us.

It was great as the boys got a lot of time with him. Now Max wants daddy to brush his teeth and night and not Mommy.
When it comes to brushing teeth before bedtime, Max would say, "Koh-koh first"
Then after I had finished with Micah, Max would then say, "I want Daddy. I want Daddy to brush for me."
(Ahh... one little job redirected to Daddy. :D)

Of course the better part and those that made a big difference was also that the boys got to go to the park some of the evenings when it was not raining. The mornings were also great: Gadget-daddy drove Micah to school, then he gets off to his office and Mommy spends the rest of the morning with Max until it was time to pick up Micah from school. Only once did we go home with out Gadget-daddy as he had some people to see in the office till later.

(We should have made some luncheon plans with friends working near his office, like you, Ann, but Gadget-daddy usually have to rush back to be on a conference call.)

Of course, with Gadget-daddy driving, Grandma stayed home in the mornings and did her own things. She must be relived too.

The only things was when Gadget-daddy when to refill the petrol yesterday, he realised the car was performing badly. I teased and said it must be the way he drives as he was driving us around the whole week. Then we remembered that the day before that he discovered that the tires were a little out of air. That had caused more friction, requiring more gas to go. I for one am glad he was driving this week. I doubt that I would have noticed it and thought something wrong with the engine.

This coming week Gadget-daddy will be off again. We will all miss him very much.

Gadget-Daddy On Duty

Mommy's down with the sniffles. And because of nose-block last night, This morning I woke up with a bad sore throat and cough.
All these due to high stress for a couple of days.

Today I went to the doc's to get some medication, and after my first dose about 6.30pm, I went off to bed and slept till 11.30pm.

Instructions to Gadget-daddy:

The boys have porridge in the pot, but they should eat only after 8pm, as they had a snack about 6.30pm.
Only Micah will want yaw-char-kuey (a kind of fried dough usually eaten with rice porridge, dunk into coffee or just to munch) with his porridge.

I was totally knocked out. I knew the boys came into the room a couple of times, then they went off to play again. By the time it was 11.30pm, Gadget-daddy got their teeth brushed and into their diapers and PJ's.

Max came to nurse and that woke me up.
By 12am both the boys were asleep.

I took another round of meds and had something to eat.

Now I can't sleep. Still sniffing a little, but wish the doc had given a tonne more of lozenges as that would really make me feel better immediately.

Anyway, I checked with Gadget-daddy what they did. The boys:

Took their dinner, negotiated for a cold sparkling ribena,
watched Gadget-daddy on the Wii Fit for a while,
then played with the camera,
played with their toys.
Fought a little, but settled things between themselves.
Then came up to get ready for bed.

One things about the boys is that they know Gadget-daddy is stricter when it comes to getting to the job. They are never dawdling. Also they know negotiation is harder with Gadget-daddy, so they behave a lot better than when Mommy's the one calling out the orders.

Kids. They are just so smart. They know what they can get away with with whom.

OK.. should go lie down now.

Have a good weekend, fellow bloggers.

Micah took this shot:
Gadget-daddy set the camera on the tripod
and Micah angled the camera,
set it on the timer and got his bro to sit with him.

Pampering Our Men... and Vice-versa

Was reading this post at Mumsgather the other day, and I have to say:

These are the things I do to pamper Gadget-daddy:

Greet him at the door when he gets home, unless I am engaged with the kids, or did not hear him come in.

Get him his dinner, as in, dish out the rice and make sure what Mil cooked is OK for him (he is one Malaysian who does not take chilly and is 95% carnivorous). Otherwise, I will make him a couple of fried eggs or fried rice.

Get him water after meals and whenever he requests for one.

Make him tea, pour him juice, herbal tea, etc.

Make him a late dinner/ supper even after I'm already all ready for bed.

Cover him when he's asleep in case he gets cold in the middle of the night.

Be his pedicurist.

Give him a massage - back. legs, shoulders - where it's hurting, whenever needed. Usually after a strenuous badminton or basketball game.

Make sure there's a never ending supply of soap and shampoo and hair gel in the bathroom. (Isn't it like magic that these never run out? :D)

Make sure laundry is done in time for his travels.

Pack his bag for him when he/we have to travel.

Stay up to keep him company if he has to work late - Hahaha... that's when I go visiting you blog buddies.

Pampering Mommy, Gadget-daddy will:

Give a back rub frequently, especially these days.

Give me a good back scrub in the showers.

Do chores willingly upon request: laundry (excluding ironing), changing bed sheets, feeding the boys, bathing the boys, picking up after the boys.

Let me choose what to do on a Saturday.

Watch the boys so I can have lunch with a friend.

Attend to all my fuss, whines and cries regarding glitches on the computer.

Sit up in the middle of the night to lend me a shoulder to cry on and hear my complains.

Pour water for me after meals, should he finish first.

Make the effort to get us out on a date when the boys are taking their nap on a Saturday.

***************

I'm sure there are more to list down, but, Oh... need to hit the hay. Actually promised Gadget-daddy I'd sleep early... Opps.
Sorry, Honey.

Anyone interested to put up your list? :)

Gadget-daddy's Home

Gadget-daddy's home.

The boys wasted no time in playing and rough housing with their Daddy. While he took time to play a recently discovered train game online, Mommy took a snooze. Now the boys are downstairs playing racing with their uncle, it's Daddy's turn to snooze. Traveling is very tiring and so time wasting.

Just glad he's home safe. And no hitches this time. There was one incident where he was suppose to be home by 3pm, but because of the flight delays he reached home at 12am.

Just so glad he's home.
