The next day,
Grandma: Micah, come take the cat out of the kitchen. Quick!

Grandpa: Wash your hands properly. Use soap.

Grandpa: Aiya! Why you play with the soap! (Puts the soap out of reach.)

Yes, We confurse them all the time...sometimes in actions more than words. Rather, when our actions don't match our words. Poor kids.

hahahahaha...reminds me of one I did tonight, when I quickly grabbed something from A that she had taken off E all the while admonishing my oldest girl for snatching!
