I Insist...
Max is a very persistent boy.
It's one of his more obvious traits.
But we all know that a two year old cannot always grasp the actual sense of quantity and space.
So Max's persistence got Mommy to sit in the blue basket.
The conversation around that event was such:
Max: Mommy. Come in basket.
Mommy: Mommy's too big, Max.
Max: Mommy, come in basket. Sit (to)gether, OK?
Mommy: If Mommy sit inside, there'll be no space for you.
Max: Mommy sit inside basket. (To)gether. Come on.
Mommy: But Mommy's too big, Max.
Max: Mommy. Come on.
Mommy: Ok... ok... (put her big behind into the middle of the basket with the legs sticking out.)
Max: Mommy, come out. Come out Mommy.
He never asked me to sit in the basket with him again.

hey, neome,
Well, I am a rather indulging mom. If I think it's fun and no harm, I'm ok to go along with their play. I also have fun-maa. :)
how gorgeous :)
OPppSss...hehehe.....they are just sooooo adorable!
Quantity and space indeed!
hahahhahahaha u learn to have "no shame" lah when it comes to these kids.. so far, they havent asked me to sit in a basket tho HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA sure PECAH!
Luckily I haven't exposed Caitlin to a lot of "girlie" toys and activities...
Otherwise you can guess the types of activities she's been asking Daddee to participate in!
hissychick,
Max can be very inclusive. He's really a sweety.

ann,
yeah, I was thinking," you don't know what you're asking for, do you?!"
--------
angelia,
you are right about "no shame". Sometimes I think parents will just stare at this hippo running around with 2 monkeys at the playground doing "daytona". :P
-------
jlow,
have you seen the movie Gameplan?
That would be like a nightmare for you! Hahaha...
But I also play "masak-masak" with my boys. They love baking/cooking stuff and feeding them to me.
