Toddler Vagueness
The last few days Micah has been giving me answers that I thought I didn't have to hear till 10 years from now. Now I'm feeling like I'm already hanging on the edge of a cliff, tied to a swivel chair...
Mommy: Micah, would you like to go to Ah Ma's house?
Micah: Maybe...
Mommy: Would you like some more noodle?
Micah: I suppose...
(He's trying to fix a line of train while I'm walking between him and his brother with their breakfast)
Mommy: Micah, when we get to Aunty Mable's you need to go up with Mah-mah and Max first, OK? I need to park the car.
Micah: If you say so...
(When we arrived, I had to tell him again and he did not resist.)
I also have to say that those few times he gave those vague answers were when he was busy doing something, i.e. playing with his toys or looking out of the car's window. He can already get his brain to give half answers because he is only partially paying attention to you.
From an almost 4 year old, I think it's FREAKY!!
