Your Son

Some how we have picked up this phrase when Gadget-daddy and I talk:

Today, your son, did this...

Your son....

You know what your son just said? ...

etc...

Even Micah has picked it up. Yesterday Micah called out to me, "Mommy, your son is crying for you."

p/s- This post was inspired by Gadget-daddy.
Just just now Gadget-daddy was saying how he needed to prepare for church service tomorrow and he said, "Your son's sure to say, 'Daddy you're too loud.' "
And with a laugh he went out of our room. "Your son"...

p/p/s- Will come back later and tell you of our "circus" in Taiping. ;)

how cute. A uses 'hon' and 'sweetheart' a lot, made me realise that i use the first for toddlerdaddy and the latter for my girls more often than not!

a gift from god,

Yeah, there is a nice and special emotional tag on that. :)

hissychick,

Yeah, I use cutie, sweetheart and darling for the boys, and dear for hubby.

Sometimes Micah will call his daddy dear and his brother cutie. :)

Before kids: S/he's your friend, YOU call him/her...

With kids: She's YOUR daughter (whenever daughter does something naughty.)

I think we are still at the stage when we use "your son" when he starts to do something mischevious....and we still laugh after we say it!

I will go "you son ah (sone cheeky action)"
And hubby will go "No lah...YOUR son lah!"

Have to add in the -lah and -ah for effect! :) Cheers!

jlow,

Gadget-daddy always make me do all these social calls, especially with almost 90% of our social events are with our common friends.

Only when it's his friends from work he'll go on his own. Too much hassle with the kids. Also I have sat with him, before the boys came, with his work mates and I was the only one asking personal questions while everyone's talking techie stuff.

ann,

Hahaha...The cheeky incidents indeed!

We used to say that too when Micah was very young, now Gadget-daddy and I just use it for reporting, and sometimes I forget to mention which son from the start and he will have to figure which one I'm talking about. Hahaha...
