Movie Special In School

Micah's school did a movie special today, bringing both the kindy and the playgroup (for Max) together to talk about what to expect and how to behave in a cinema.
It was really fun simulation.

We all were told to line up for a ticket.

Then we queued to get our drinks and popcorn.

The everyone sat in rows of chairs in a darkened room to watch a few short cartoon.

When it ended (too soon), the children moaned a little and washed up for their snacks.
Then some free play and it was time to go home.

What a fun day at school.

Read your Two Events post before this one. And it so funny that if you put on the right movie, they actually sit quietly and eat the popcorn etc. etc.

It would be nice to have popcorn and see our kids' rections while they watch their favourite shows! That's entertainment enough for us!

ann,

Well, the ones the showed in school were more of those DVD bonus stuff that we also have, and so it's familiar and not "scary" for the boys. There was a girl who also said to her mom she did not want the show to go on...

To Micah, the slightest stressful situation, i.e. showing some bad guys plotting or threatening the small and weak will make him want the movie stopped.

When you go watch WALL.E, it's the part WALL.E kinda "lost" his friend that made him cry. (Not giving you any details so not to spoil thew show for you. :))
