hahahaha.....naughty uncle of Christopher has already let him try ice cream...though only a bit! But the magic of sugar and cream gets to all kids! He howled for more after that!
And what to do....I scold and frown at uncle after that but the damage was done!
But then...Christopher does howl for more orange to suck on too! :)
I know what you mean about others "spoiling" our clean slate.
Micah never know what lolly-pop really was, although he had seen pictures of it and knew the word, until a hotel concierge opened and gave him one. He was maybe 14 months old. We were in Singapore and my mum was with him while I went back to the room for something.
After that he would ask for one whenever we are at the shops, but I usually don't give in. The grandparents, however,...

How adorable. There's nothing like the sheer look of enjoyment on a child's face when they enjoy to treat to make you feel all gooey inside too :)
Very cute!
Reminds me of when Caitlin tasted ice cream the first time.
The grimace on her face is priceless! (She had never tasted anything cold before that)
Ahhhh.... sooooo sweet... I wonder when Reese will enjoy ice cream.. :)
He doesn't like the sweetness of Ice cream..really weird..but he will pretend to eat ice cream!
hissychick,
This is a boy who enjoys food and wants to feed himself.

jlow,
it's not his first ice-cream treat, actually, but first time I captured his enjoying it. :)
a gift from god,
It's strange how some kids just don't like certain "junk" food (ice-cream is actually quite nutritious).
My sister's girl does not like any carbonated drinks, not even 100plus.
